About SOUND LOUNGE

SOUND LOUNGE is a section for archiving and sharing some favorite electronic tunes.

Sound Lounge was created out of a love for electronic music. Electronic music genres tend to encapsulate an immense variety of sounds, styles, and subgenres, so by highlighting personal thoughts and impressions about each entry, Sound Lounge aims to act as a bridge for readers to discover songs or subgenres they will enjoy.

Each entry will include the following:

The song described in a sentence or two

Information about the song (release date, label, genre)

Further personal thoughts about the song

If possible, where you can buy the track and support the artists

A “clap” function denoted as a star [★]

General Information

This is, first and foremost, a personal repository and a pet project done entirely for entertainment. It should not be used as a definitive authority on electronic music.

Every song in the SOUND LOUNGE is a song I enjoy. However, there are some tracks that are particularly notable in a personal criteria. Categories range from “★ BIG Tune” to “★★ HZRD Fave” to “★★★ REWIND!”

Opinions and thoughts are mutable, and for entertainment purposes only.

I have tried to be as accurate as possible with dates and labels. Some songs may have had an earlier release, or were released later on a complete album, or have had variations in production. This is an enthusiast’s fan site, information should be taken with a grain of salt.

Some songs may (and honestly often do) straddle multiple genres or sub-genres; this information will be tentatively provided when there is a degree of certainty in the label.

On the subject of genres, I have done my best to accurately label each song with appropriate genres, but there may be inaccuracies at times. I will do my best to correct them as I can.

Some songs or titles may include offensive or explicit language. Please listen at your own discretion.

Claps are anonymous and for entertainment purposes, please clap freely and as often as you want.

For best experience, enjoy these songs with a sound system that properly reproduces bass and sub-bass. You may otherwise have a poor listening experience.

Songs are added “whenever”.
